Onwards and upwards Part 8 – Kate

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…kinda.

Here at My Mustard, we like to celebrate and well… following My Mustard’s 13th (unlucky for some!) Birthday, this year hasn’t really been one for celebrating.

But… when there is a will, there is a way!

The fabulous June Cory organised an expertly crafted Christmas-do; virtual, of course.

We enjoyed lots of drinks, including gin from Puddingstone Distillery, wine, baileys and a signature ‘Mustard’ cocktail, that fortunately tasted like a Terry’s chocolate orange instead of actual Mustard.

We had snacks and dinner prepared and delivered by Cote At Home and Restaurant Kits.

We transformed into Strictly Come Dancing characters and solved a Murder Mystery case, thanks to Red Herring Games and the wonderful, not-over-the-top-at-all acting of our narrator Antonia Brickell.

Georgia organised a quiz where we all submitted 5 secret facts about ourselves and then individually guessed the offender.

Chris from Fun Casino Nights tuned in and swept us off to virtual Vegas for some roulette, black-jack and horse racing.

Followed by a secret-Santa gift swap, delivered by Santa (Amazon) himself and cocktail making.

Of course, no My Mustard party would be complete without a generous sprinkling of laughter, explicit Pictionary, friendly chat and Cards Against Humanity.

As much as I would have loved to be in the same room as my friends and co-workers, it was a plus having to stumble only a few yards into my bed at the end of night.

I want to say a huge thank you to June who put so much into organising and preparing such a fabulous night. It was definitely one to remember (well, before the ‘Mustard’ cocktails anyway!).
